Law enforcement officers and DUI task force cops aggressively pursue DUI arrests and convictions not just in Roswell, Georgia, but nationwide.  Here are some recent headlines:

Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of country singer Leann Rimes' new fiancé Eddie Cibrian, has entered a nolo or "no contest" plea to her DUI charges on Friday, April 1, 2011.  Ms. Glanville was arrested last October in Los Angeles when she pulled over and found to have a breath test above the legal limit.  According to reports, Ms. Glanville is on 3 years probation, has to take DUI classes, and has to pay a fine and court costs.  Ms. Glanville and Eddie Cibrian separated after Cibrian and Rimes confessed to having an affair.

In other news, Debra Oberlin, a former president of a defunct chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), was arrested in Gainesville, FL for drunk driving.  Ms. Oberlin was reportedly arrested after she had difficulty on a field sobriety test

She then registered a .234 and .239 on breath alcohol tests. An officer spotted Ms. Oberlin driving erratically and stopped her car.  The officer reported that Ms. Oberlin smelled of alcohol and had watery, bloodshot and dilated eyes.
